Nope, I would not sell mine!

Please consider all of my other 12 cameras up for high bidder! The/my EPIC IS THAT GOOD! When one of my clients doesn't want to shoot Epic it will pain me dearly to use anything else!

I am curious to see if a $ figure pops out of all of this, perhaps I will insure my baby for that amount

If you were buying for short term use (in effect, a cost effective long term rental) then it makes perfect sense, especially when 100% recovery is possible. If work is complete and the company is dissolving, then liquidation of assets is required. I don't see anything shady in the practice. It all depends upon individual needs and priorities.

This is exactly what is happening in this case, but the production/company in question has still made no anouncement about it. If they wait until Epic X is close, the price my start to drop on the equipment.
