  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

My epics will be here any day but I want scarlet for myself!

Amazing! You had me jumping on "will ship before the end of this year". Looking forward to se the smackdown the Nov 3rd! Finally I got to upgrade to a modular system!!!

I don't think there will be stages for Scarlet... :-) I'm maybe wrong..

From the way Jarred said it, I'd take that to mean anyone, Red1 owner, Epic owner, canon owner, dog owner, nothing owner. First to order get theirs first, everyone else after the one in front. So long as they haven't done something to seriously piss RED off

I have a radical suggestion, again ;) , what about views of announcement threads, a button, that just lists posts by the Red team all at once? Would save heaps of server time than flicking through threads.

Awesome! I hope there are enough to go around. It must be hard to anticipate how many to make. Canon is about to get smoked...Gomer Pyle style. I'm seriously going to be hitting refresh until Nov 3. I like the no stage/prioroity approach as well. Thanks for all the hard work. Just have to know how much money i'm going to need ready to go. Should I hold off on a new car haha?

Yes... a bit of a different approach this time. We are going to take care of the guys that have offered support along the way. The guys that, even though this road has been long, kept it together and had a little faith. The good attitude guys. Apart from those who we will select as we go along, it will be first come first serve..

Except of course the people on the Shit List.. Those guys go to the very back of the line, or off the line completely. Life is too short.

I will use the Scarlet for my upcoming feature film next summer. SOO cool.
I have a canon 5dmk2 and I love it but now it's time to jump in the big league.

on the 3rd, RED will be the bully at canon school :)

It might have been a long road, but honestly I feel better for it. I've had the opportunity to read insight from users and the Red team that have prepared me for my upcoming purchase, and also has built up a great deal of confidence that (once the camera is in my hands) I have a support system here at redusers.net that could help with any issue I might have.

Kudos to the Red team, and kudos to all those who have invested time, effort and money in bringing something truly amazing to table.

Go ahead.... make Canon cry :)

Scarlet is part of the DSMC program.. almost everything that works with EPIC will work with Scarlet. Batteries, media, mounts, etc. Even the base plates and QR platforms have been made to accept both cameras.
