Has anyone experienced their back focus drifting out overtime?

No back focus issues noticed with my Epic-X which has the same mechanism.

Are you going between temperature extremes - very cold to very hot?

Is your lens mount clean and firmly tightened on the body (not overtightened though! 22 in-lbs max).

Does it only affect one lens, or a whole set?

Ours stays very much the same... I almost regret that I bought a RED focus as I only had use for it once / The first time I used it :)

No extremes as of late. I'll keep a closer eye on temperature though. It was affecting a shoe set

Were you using a zoom lens? Not all zooms are par focal.

Primes. First time this has happened in years

I hadn't either till 2 days ago and it was really out

Haven't touched any of our cameras back focus since the day we bought them.

I checked ours when we got it and it was out. And I checked with the big rental house here in town and they told me all their epic MX was set wrong when they received them. So to say the least not all cameras are trimmed in when they leave the red factory.

Bjorn,

Are you saying that, 'with a PL mount', the flange distance from the mount, to the sensor was off?

just curious, how did you adjust it?
