  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Scarlet X #59 shooting Angela Simmons :)

Hey Will, did you use any bounce boards or light reflection? If not, what lens was used? Looked solid, if not spectacular.

Nope no bounces. Shot with 4 older ef adapted nikon manual lenses. 17mm f3.5 24mm f2.8 50mm f1.2 and an 85mm f2

Music to my ears; I have that 24 and 85. Off topic a little, but is it just me or does everything look amazing on that 85?

I'm guessing the overcast worked in the camera's favour. Did you mess around much with contrast in RCXp or let it ride? In my opinion it looks great (or exceptional when you take into consideration that it was essentially point and shoot)!

Thanks:) This was def a test for the point and shoot usability of the Scarlet. I love the 85mm

I applied a light curve in RCPx and added a tiny bit of contrast/look in FCP. CS5.5 is in the mail so I can edit native. ( just bought CS5... damn)

Welcome to the Native [CS] club Will. Good work for point n' shoot. Can't wait to throw my Nikons on there as well.
