Picked up two Scarlets in Irvine yesterday evening, barely slept in the last 24 hours. Just published a blog post which will give you all the un-boxing pics:

I'm excited to provide these cameras in tight coordination with the post production and VFX arsenal at Identity FX, Inc. More details to come in the following days and weeks.

Want to give a big shout out to Ted Schilowitz and Mark Pederson. I met Ted and Mark a year ago at Reducation and over the last 12 months they have both been a great source of support, knowledge and collaboration. I look forward to doing my part to continue building and sharing knowledge within this amazing RED community.

Yes, I did receive both side handles when I made the pickup in Irvine. Both cameras were ordered as AL Canon Mount Packages.

LOL thanks Phil, that may very well be the inspiration for their names. And thank YOU for all of the awesome information you are sharing. All of your charts and posts have been crucial for me to get up to speed with the Scarlet and its capabilities.

I think it's safe to say that for both of us Michael, considering your Scarlet is in the first 100 :) BTW, I'm a big fan of Joe Lansdale. Looking forward to seeing your work on Christmas with the Dead.

I guess you're quite right.

If you want, I could possibly get a signed copy of one of his books for you! And that movie was definitely an experience. Had a director that was... very outspoken! lol
