  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Scarlet-W Queue

Reds are great for timelapse. AFAIK the slowest shutter speed is 1 second, though you can extend that to 16 (I think) with frame processing set to summed.

You could set frame processing to summed, shoot 16-seconds at a time, and use AstroStack or similar to stack them also. I've done it, though it's been a long time, with a dSLR, in order to extend the long exposure beyond the built-in 30-second limit while also reducing noise through stacking. I might be misremembering the name of the software though.
 
Finally received my Scarlet-W yesterday. I had a 5 december 2015 timestamp (Raven switcher back around October 2016).

Got allocated this week! Red said will ship next week. Switched from Raven 5/25/16 direct from Red.

Was 5/25/16 your original order date for your Raven or when you switched to the Scarlet-W?

I ordered my Scarlet-W in December 2016, sounds like about 6 months to get allocated for most people, so I guess if I get mine around June I'll be pretty happy. Luckily I have access to Epic Dragons until then, just looking forward to having my own to pick up whenever I want to shoot!

5/25 was my Original Raven order. I switched in July.
 
I have been waiting for almost 8 months, hope it will be soon! :-D
 
Ordered Raven January 15 of 2016. Switched to Scarlet W in early February of 2017 and I just received it yesterday. Very cool!

Just to keep those waiting updated...I finally got an email from CVP in the UK confirming my Scarlet had arrived and just need to pay the outstanding balance. 9 month wait is finally over!
 
Finally European people got allocated so I am. 5 jan timestamp raven to s-w switcher for the v-lock package! Can't wait :)
