  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Received my Scarlet W I/O package last week. Ordered in March through a dealer in the U.K

Had exactly the same issue with Jeffrey at Band Pro when I was putting in my S-W deposit. It was like the dude didn't want my business - days to respond to emails and when he did, just flat out didn't answer my questions.

Put the order in directly on red.com instead. No skin off my nose!

Before that, back last December when I was first contemplating it, I did Reducation at Abel in LA, and emailed a little with the saleswoman there. I was about ready to pull the trigger but she flat out didn't get back to me before my Reducation discount ran out.

Honestly, if I was Red I would ditch the dealer network - I've had way better experiences with the Bomb Squad reps than dealers, and Red obviously makes less money going through dealers since they have to take their end.
 
I ordered with cvp in the UK and no problems.

emails can sometimes get lost with big companies but over the phone seems the best way to communicate. Ordered my scarlet in January and got it last week.
 
Removed my name from the spreadsheet as I just spoke with my rep about a $30k impulse buy :) I hope it helps reduce your wait times.

Just bumping this up.

Allocated today for a Feb 2 Raven to SW switch.

My rep said they're racing through timestamps right now, so hopefully we'll be seeing more allocations shortly! Can't wait to see more SW footage on here.

Go with the 512GB cards. You actually save more $ per GB when you buy larger cards + the 512GB and 1TB cards are the red ones that have higher data rates so if you end up getting a Helium brain down the road you can still use the same cards.
