  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Scarlet-W has Begun...

Any news if the employees at RED were doing the Lord's work yesterday and blasting S-W or Raven allocations??? :)
 
havent posted on this thread before but have been following it.
i have a good feeling allocations have been made in the last two weeks.
There were a lot of people who was posting a lot on this thread with raven switchers but now they're gone.
Im sure they're playing with their new scarlet.

Hi Jarred or Brent,

im sure this gets asked a lot but a ballpark answer would be awesome. I pre ordered a Raven package this week. What month would be reasonable to anticipate its arrival? This is my first Red though I've been on the forum a while and I wanted to thank you guys for keeping everyone informed. Coming from Black magic it's a huge sigh of relief. Thank you!

After being a BMD customer for several years, it does take some getting used to having reps actually responding to forum posts, never mind the CEO taking the time. :)

It will be my first Red also.
 
Any updates on who got allocations? It's been awhile.

Anyone received an allocation yet this week? As an October 25th timestamp, i'm starting to get butterflies in my stomach :) Can't wait to receive my first RED.

Last one i've seen was Sergio last Friday, I think.

I'm getting pretty excited about it also... I'm hoping mine arrives during NAB so that it will be waiting for me when I return... I have a snowshoe trip planned that would be a great opportunity to give it a workout. :)

The biggest difference is that one exists and the other one doesn't.

The other differences are that the SCARLET-W conforms to the new WEAPON/DSMC2 body dimensions and features including onboard wifi, better processing, and a native dragon sensor.
 
Whew! Only took roughly 10 months but my Scarlet-W has finally been allocated! Now I can finally wipe the metaphysical sweat off my brow and really wipe it off when I get to fly the thing!

That's so cool, Dae! Congrats! I just got my Epic-W so I'm pretty stoked. I also was in line for the Scarlet-W but switched over. One of the guys who helped move the Scarlet-W line a little faster. Hope you're well!

Thanks David! Yea been impatiently waiting and was debating whether to go Epic-W but decided I can always upgrade down the road. And everything is ok. Miss working with you and hope to get on a project with you soon!
 
Congrats Dae! What was your time stamp? I am curious about where they are in the queue.
