  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Scarlet-W has Begun...

I doubt this will fly, but what if we bring back the S-W to Red and pay for a factory inspection to make sure it's up to par, then get the Red Armor at a later date? Like I mentioned, would love to have Red Armor, but too much other stuff to buy.

No worries if it's not possible. Just thought I'd ask.

Brent, Does the Base I/O can be used as a brick charger if the brain is power off and dc plugged in? Finishing my inventory Shopping Cart at Red.com :)

Correct, bundle gets the bundle discount as we take pre-orders into account on our supply chain. Cannot offer a bundle break on a la carte...

Today has been an extremely happy day! I'm so glad to be part of this family for a few years already. My friends that aren't involved in this industry Cannot understand how possible the president and the big guys reply directly to us. They think this blog is fake when I show them. LOL...Only RED does it.

Alain, the funny thing is, no one at RED is required to be on REDUSER. We choose to do it. We know that as soon as you put up a wall between you and your customers, you lose touch and start making product for the wrong reasons....

That is what impresses people the most Brent. Because RED is Big in the industry, Yet we are in contact in an open source "forum" and you guys directly reply to us and then we have all the folks collaborating with info, tips, technicality tests like Phil does for example. This is unseen out there, and that is what makes this family so special!
 
REALLY considering switching over to the Scarlet-W from the Raven, now that they are officially being rolled out. I know the question on my mind is how the queue swap works, and I know I was really early in the Raven queue as I placed my order an hour after the Raven order opened.
Is that still applicable? Would I still maintain some priority with my early Raven pre-order? I'm sure some reduser forumites might hate me for it if I get bumped right before them :seeya:

As one who would get bumped a little (meaning you are probably behind me in the RAVEN queue and would then bump me a little if you switched to Scarlet) I say do what is best for you. That is, if you are brain only you could gain quite a bit by switching. If you are brain and bundle, you would probably be one of the first in the bundle roll-out.

It's your money and you don't make the rules. Nothing wrong with taking an advantage that is both legal and moral.

Oh yeah, for sure, my concern for other people in the queue has absolutely no influence on my decision to switch. It's mainly whether or not my queue is still transferred over. Too bad I realized this too late on a Friday night, gotta wait until Monday now to make the switch happen

Yup, your RAVEN timestamp transfers over. So, if you would have already would have been blasted, you would be in next SCARLET-W blast....

Sweet! I've been flip-flopping back and forth for the past several weeks, I guess I should have made up my mind just a couple days ago. I guess I'll make it happen when you guys open back up Monday!

Great stuff. Note, RAVEN queue thread is only a fraction of orders actually received... Tell you what, PM me your RAVEN order date/time stamp, I will check to see if you would have been part of the first blast. One time offer, don't everyone jump on this offer, haha.

Anyone have any idea how far up the orders that got blasted are at? Date wise I mean. My hopeful side says they knocked out the first week or orders but my honest side thinks they're still filling announcement day orders. One can only hope!
