  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Scarlet-W has Begun...

Is this the similar box style case we are used too for our Epics , I presume they are not the Peli style weapon package cases ? im trying to plan ahead for flying across the states with a weapon and Scarlet W in the coming weeks and I'm planning my packing. Thanks
 
I don't think anyone will mind getting a black box with no branding. We care about what's on the inside! Exciting hearing you guys get your W notifications. Hopefully the first batch ships out today! Anyone picking it up at RED HQ? Can't wait to see the first images and videos off of it!
 
I am proud to say that I'm joining the RED family! So ready for the big upgrade coming from my GH4. This news made my day and I can't wait to see what you all will create with it.
 
I had an early Raven order (within first few hours) and switched to Scarlet-W package. SoCal Leasing rep just mentioned she heard March 16 as S-W package ship date. I'm leaving for a five week expedition on March 8. Wondering if there's any chance I'll have a nice new package to open before my trip...

Hi Jarred and Brent,

I have a quick question for you. I know current policy is to buy Red Armor at the time of purchase only. Is there anyway you guys can change it so we can buy it as our 1 year warranty is about to expire?

The reason is, I would love to buy Red Armor, but I have to come up with so much money up-front, that I probably just cannot buy it the first time around.

Would be great but I don't think it would happen sadly.. I could see having people ship their units back to RED for a evaluation possibly to make sure you are still eligible & people buying it on borderline of 1st year expiring. As amazing as it would be for us consumers I could see the potential headaches on RED's part.

I could be totally wrong, but just my guess.

Sorry, we cannot do that. We can only offer extended warranties when new or when coming back for transfer of ownership, upgrade, etc as we will be able to ensure it is up to factory specifications with no out-of-warranty damage. We could never extend a warranty sight unseen. Once you drive the car off the lot...

Though you can buy Apple Care within one year from purchasing any of their products and extend the warranty sight unseen...
 
I ordered the SCARLET-W upgrade package from EU, will it ship according to the queue or do you give priority to the US?

Also would it be possible to trade the 4.7 display with the new 7 inches one?

For the iPhone, you can only buy Apple Care + within 60 days of purchase and you have to show your phone @ the store.

A $1,500 product (give or take depending what it is) vs a $15k to $60k product... BIG difference.

Deliveries from RED HQ to REL began today as well. People were blasted allocations irregardless of location, solely on timestamp...

I assume you mean within the bundle? No. A bundle is a bundle... If you want to switch things up, need to buy a la carte.

Yes I meant within the bundle for scarlet dragon owner. If I buy a la carte I don't get the discount right?
