Hi,
just wondering.
If you do NOT record, will the SDI output be able to output 25 fps at 5k? (Scarlet)
Thanks

But you can indeed get that frame size if you need it out of the SDI, Shoot 4k (and you can record) enable look around, and record the sDI, you'll have your full frame proress in 1080p and a crop 4k file as well.

You can record "full sensor" downsampled trough the 1080p SDI out. A good option if you do HD work and want the beauty coming from using the bigger sensor. But it aint 5k just a very good (probably as good as it gets) HD signal.

And it goes up to 30fps. Just make sure "look-around area" is enabled and SDI is set to "Clean" output. It can't go any faster than 30fps, because that's what SDI is limited to (technically 60i, so it'll cause the recorder to flip out if you try to record 48-60fps).

You'll get the 5k FOV, but it's only 1080p… and not raw. That said, you could record both 4k RAW on REDmags AND "5k FOV" on the recorder simultaneously, which kind of gives you the best of both worlds.
