  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Scarlet S35 is now...

Talking about the ribs just have some from south of the Austrian Alps a.k.a Carinthia (German: Kärnten, Slovene: Koroška)

cooking with the beans and taking the last glass of red wine at home and going out to the Viennese nightlife.

The beans with the ribs will be waiting overnight for tomorrow Sunday's meal with Kärnten brot (Carinthian bread), saurekraut ("sour cabbage") and cold beer.

Beans are the mix made from Styrian (German: Steiermark, Austria) and Tuscany's (Toscana, Italy) best brown/darker beans.

In Vienna we have always a sort of an old fashioned "Imperial Fun".

JJ, if you're married to the idea of using "Epic" for both cameras, consider calling the former Scarlet the Epic and what we know to be the Epic Epic X. This makes sense if they are the same or nearly same bodies. But if the Scarlet is still going to have fixed lenses, 25% smaller, etc, then it really doesn't rate an Epic name. Give it a "Red" something name. Red Two? Red 200?

Regarding the core of the game, I have confidence in the wonders to come. The name problem however is, that "Epic" and "Light" simply have opposite meanings. How about "Epicure" ...? ;-)

Now back to scriptwriting here in snow covered Denmark.
 
At least they're not calling it the EPIC-CRPL

Yes..it did.
Because that extra 20% actually costs $20k more to provide.
Jannard mentioned just this at the Red Day.

Run film at 24fps and then some at 100fps and see how much more $$$ you spend.

Epic X is a bargain..no matter what the other cameras cost.
If you don't agree. Simple. Just don't buy one.
 
Reading through the responses on here it's clear that too many people are focusing on the nomcalture of other manufacturer's; I'm only surprised no one has mentioned animals; Epic Eagle, Epic Bantom - it worked with Tigers and Panthers after all.

I'd choose something that is a modern use of language and acurately reflects viewers' response to the imagery created by these wonderful tools. With that in mind I'd go for Epic OMG Epic WTF

Maybe we need a naming competition with the winner getting an Epic. My vote goes to Epic WTF:)
