  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Scarlet preview...

I have 100% faith in Red. what ever price it may be, it will definitely be the best price/performance camera on planet earth.
 
Jim you have my money either way. If it's under $10,000 for a basic setup then day 1 you have my money.

If it's more then I gotta sell some stuff first :) I'm a run and gun shooter, I'm lightweight, and fast. I want to add Scarlet to my lightweight arsenal my Red is to heavy for gorilla warfare.

So I guess the question is can you tell us if it's under 10K?

From all of us in REDland I must say it has been amazing over the last couple weeks watching you actually keeping the lid on leaks . . . from yourself! You have demonstrated discipline, resolve and grit worthy of a Spartan. We know this has been a time of great tension and burden for you and Jarred - having all the answers to our dumb fuck speculation posts . . . but having the kindness and care not to blow us away with the singular reality. Know that it will all be over this this week after which you can start the drums beating about 645 or something else to keep us all awake at night.

It'd be swell to have a hint dropped as to how much dosh I need on my card. It's been stated 3k is dead. I can only assume the 6k price tag Ted mentioned earlier in the year is also dead. Will we see another 3k increase? 9k would be lovely. My hunch is it will be competing with the Sony PMWF3 in terms of price. Obviously not in the capability. 5 days to go.

This is by no means a request... Though I wouldn't be against some cryptic zodiac-esque clues ;)

Oh the anticipation.

With the tech Red has developed, there's not going to be an option like this anywhere else anyway, at whatever price it's at.... :)
 
So in light of the latest information, I have decided that I feel exactly the same as I always did about Scarlet.

Which is: Excited with anticipation, because I want one and I still know nothing! LOL!

If I don't get it immediately I will get one eventually, so this doesn't affect me either way.

Besides, there is enough accessories I need to get anyway.

I was gonna get one anyway, this just makes it sweeter!

Last time I checked, my goal was never to go "Dabbling" it was always to go "Pro"!
