  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Scarlet launch concern... Jim/Jarred, give us a crumb?

Maybe it has internal hard disk recorder?

No one knows and I doubt this thread will be answered until nov 3rd.

Yes

I totally doubt this too.

I am doubting everything until there is something somewhat concrete. Which might happen early in November.

I hear ya all, all fair comments, SSD is the way to go etc... but the SSD-CF thing isn't classified, we've been told it's coming... this is RED and everything changes and... awww would just be nice to know if it was coming with Scarlet or not grrrr :)

Anyone else notice that the red store sells its lenses for the scarlet?
Me thinks Scarlet fixed and non fixed shall arrive Nov 3rd for $6k fixed and $10k for interchangeable (of course with accessories included).
I think the CF module is fading.

There was originally supposed to be a line of mini primes for the scarlet before they came up with interchangeable right?

All I want to know is water proofing options for the fixed. Is there going to be a submersible enclosure, a water proof weather enclosure or anything?

I have a Kodak zx1 pocket camera that just uses seals and port doors (even rubber) if the fixed had even that we would be doing well.

Thanks again.

I think that wouldn't work, because of the air slots ...

They have a heatsink design that already isolates from water, but it can be made a complete sealed unit.
