Scarlet / Epic raincoat

[Mark L. Pederson]

Elaine Fasula dropped by today to show us the prototype for her Scarlet / Epic raincover - pretty bad ass - see pics - Elaine was known for making custom leather sound barneys for film magazines - back when folks shot on film. She also designed and made the Alexa raincovers for CSC and Panavision seen here - http://www.ombre.us/

Pretty awesome IMO - will be around $250 - handles EVF, EVF + extension, room for modules, etc. - we will have a bunch in rentals soon if anyone wants to try one out.

This is great. I just asked about this a week or so ago and boom!! It's here. I will definitely be getting one of these, just what I need for those snowy Wisconsin winter days. Please let us know when they are available. I want to be at the front of the line when it happens. Thank you Elaine!!!

She spent more time with the Epic and made even more improvements. They are shipping now. Trust me - you want one.

I WANT TWO...

Wish we had them in the Desert of Dubai, our cameras got more sand in then we can count he he.

A rain coat wil do well for that as well, but as I had back to Italy in full winter, I sure do want them, especially when filming girls dancing in the Rain...

PS: Thanks for posting this Mark, ordering TWO!!

[Andrew clemson]

Issue with sand/rain covers in Desert heat is they often end up acting like an oven. Hope there are plans for an all white model.

Can someone post a link to her website? I want one
