Still waiting here in the UK, maybe looking like next week hopefully!

I finally got my Scarlet today! What a joyful afternoon :D

Couldn't get Redmote to work with it but after an hour of tinkering i uploaded newest firmware and voila!

Mine had about 7hrs on it.

From now on it will be called #02426 aka "King Julien" and spend most of its life on a remote flying camera drone.

Here is a picture.

Seems like you have the same set up I have comming if all of what you have is pictured. To be clear you were able to control your Scarlet from just the Redmote, no side handle or touch LCD? If so what exactly did you have to do to get the camera to see the Redmote?

Thats right, i'm only using Redmote and third party HDMI monitor for control.
All you have to do is updating your Redmote using DSMC resources/Redmote newest firmware from download section on RED official website. Then put your Redmote on the back of the camera and press "menu" until you see "setup" parameter on the upper row: setup > system > redmote and pair.

Thanks! A great reminder of the beauty of this forum :yesnod:

Picked up my Scarlet yesterday - num 1449

I can't tell you much about it.. but we just did a massive project with a need for a pretty special 3 second shot, so they rented a whole truckload of Scarlets from us ... more Scarlets than most people have seen in their lifetime.

None of them had more than a minute of record time. We can't sell them as new.. and the rental was good.. so we are giving you guys a one time break on these as " Battle Tested " Scarlets.

$7100 instead of the regular $11,900. Scarlet Brain, Side SSD and Canon Mount. And because I know someone will ask, you can't swap the mount to a Nikon or PL for this deal.

They come with the standard Battle Tested 90 day warranty.. but we will open up RED ARMOR just on these since we were with them 100% of the time that they were out of the box and are as close to brand new as you can get.

Tell all your friends :)

Is there any unit still available?

Mine was placed on Oct 17 - no charges yet and no tracking #.

Our QC team is bringing in a team over the weekend to focus solely on the battle-tested SCARLET quality assurance testing. I would expect a lot of people on this thread will be getting good news over the course of next week :)

Thanks for your patience - between the SCARLET battle-tested program, launching a new ERP system for RED, and the pricing announcement on Nov 1, it has been quite a few weeks around here.

Bring on the BIG GUNS!!

Thats awesome Brent!!

I order Oct 15th. I just got confirmation that my order has shipped. Next week I'll be the proud owner of a Scarlet!!!

Ordered on the 15th and became available for pickup yesterday. Haven't slept since I unboxed. The images coming out of this thing are just pure sexiness. It's just not fair how good this camera is.

Current Scarlet owners I have a question for you...does the manual ship in the Scarlet box? Or do I have to print out the entire PDF?
