  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Changing the frame rate during a shot. For example: Start at 25fps and then when you hit a button (forget which, i think it's mappable) it ramps to 96fps.
 
Anyone else notice we have gestures now? :)

EDIT: Pinch to Magnify is a little buggy it seems. It worked great to magnify the image, but it didn't want to go back to normal mode and kept freezing. I shut the camera down.

If I am not mistaken, that was there in the previous build. (Camera not here to check.)

Jarred i don't mind sending it back if i can buy an Epic :)
And also no one said that the scarlet is like getting socks for christmas.
What I said the update was like getting socks for Christmas, I just wanted my camera to be better than R1.

I like warm sock that I can snowboard inn :)

IMO, your camera DOES do better than R1. :smiley: As does mine!

Please add the force_preset files for download. Everytime an update gets released, plenty of users have to contact their bombsquad reps just to ask for the 'enable HDMI' force preset. Waste of time for us and them!

Other than that, these firmware upgrades always remind me of how fuc&%§$ cool of a company you guys are, thanks for that!!

ALL! This is the best firmware update ever. Everything is here. Makes me now want to buy a scarlet for just time-lapse work.

I am grateful for the new features, the UI makes things more clear as well.

I hope someone can make a quick 'cheat sheet' quick start guide for the new features soon.
