Scarlet and Dragon...

My Scarlet is precious! Steve Jackson told me so! I only hope for what RED brings... which has been more than anyone in history! I want Dragon but am sitting on the fence for cost. Not worried as RED is fair to its customers. I will adopt a Dragon when I can feed it, simple as that! See you in Vegas Day #1

For me 4K 120 fps at 5:1 would be MORE than OK even if my Scarlet-X stayed with revamped boards and Misterium-X. Some times in studio I can't even cover the 13+ stops with the lights I work, imagine 18+, and the 4K end up being 640x480 where my ads are placed !

The only drawbacks that Scarlet have is the lower framerate. If you think about compression, the quality you shoot in high compression with Scarlet is quite enough for media distribution. And with 4K delivery the bandwidth will be even more capped on stations or online.
People view highly compressed bad quality files all the time, it's 99% of content viewed in this world.

I would like a Scarlet with 120 fps capabilities at 4K delivery, that would be somewhat futureproof.
