  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

I placed an order for Scarlet AL Canon mount pakage $14015.
SO # 0058208
When I checked my order status, it says the TOTAL $15,346.43
and the AC power adaptor(DSMC) is not included.
What I did wrong ?
Anybody has this issue, please help !

It's probably tax and shipping.

Also, the DSMC AC Power Adaptor is included with every Scarlet-X.


EDIT:
The math between your subtotal ($14,015) and you total ($15,346) makes sense to me, at least based on the relationship between my subtotal and total. My total is $12,263.76. If I divide that by my subtotal ($11,250), I get 1.090112. When you multiply your subtotal by that same number, it comes out to $15,278, which is pretty close to your total of $15,346.

Taxes and shipping costs can be pretty tricky to understand sometimes, but your total seems reasonable. (It's proportional to mine, at least.) I wouldn't worry about it. However, you could probably ask Bomb Squad for a breakdown of the total cost.

I'm in Canada and although I haven't been contacted by a rep yet, mine still amounts to $14015 (+ 1500 Red Armor). I ordered a few hundreds SO # before you).

I don't see the AC power adaptor either in the list. Can anyone else confirm this? Cheers.*

the ac power is called the travel charger right?
 
good call, i totally didnt even catch that. Im sure it has to come with the brain. otherwise you would be screwed. everyone else is powering theirs via ac

Actually, I've seen three other people place separate orders for DMSC AC Power Adaptors in addition to their Scarlet orders. They're going to have quite a few ways to power their camera. LOL :)

Brian is correct, the AC IS included with your package. I confirmed this with a colleague at the Red Store. And NO, the travel charger is a different item...you might be referring to the Redvolt travel charger.

just sent my rep a message. when i know, youll know. Hopefully she can gimme a quick answer. its not on my order either, even though package says it comes with.
 
I live in Washington.
I saw somewhere, that California, Washington and one more state residents will pay sell tax directly to RED.

The DSMC AC Power Adaptor won't show up on your order as a separate item. It's part of the Scarlet. I can 100% guarantee that it is included with your Scarlet. RED has already confirmed this. :-)
