  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Jack Morgan responded to all of my WTB listings here on Red User.
Said his bank account currently couldn't accept Paypal so to send money via Western Union...

Clearly a scam... I also doubt his name is actually Jack Morgan...

Probably not. Such info through the forums here is often dicey at best. It's also nothing that would be posted publicly unless we had proper cause to do so, but it is something that could be looked into by mods, more so by Jason or Jarred as the admins.

Now I do have to ask if any of you have an actual PM or can direct me to a post from this guy. I can't find any user by the name of "Jack Morgan" in the active or banned user lists. Please PM me.
 
Jack Morgan is undoubtedly a lurker of the wosrt type. He has answered my Canon WTB of the other day. Initially I answered him as he supplied so much info.
I even got some K35 pix sent to me, which I recognised from way back! He then writes I am reworking my bank and I dont do Paypal. I say I will visit and bring cash. His answer was, I am not stable at the moment so I cannot do that. Then he asks again, Please send me CASH Western Union. The final proof of a scammer. I just will not do that for anybody. His cheek is that he still comes back and says he understands and will pass to his friend for Bank details. I have been keeping him on the hook in case I could find out more but He is now blown by the forum [quite rightly] and so I dont expect to get any further now. I do have a supposed full address and phone number, it is in Blackpool England. This guy is persistant and keeps going through almost any questions. He has a similar style of writing as the guys from Nigeria whom we all recognise immediatly. Jack Morgan is a Pirate and probably gets some pleasure from using the name of a famous historical buccaneer.

not to be confused with ME, Jeff Morgan. I do have a COUSIN named Jack who I haven't talked to in years.... hmmm
 
If someone has an address, i'm quite happy to pay him a visit, for a quiet chat of coarse.
 
Hey guys this is getting out of hand..

Just report the douche bag to the local authorities in his area and make a complaint about him defrauding you. The police will then track down his email account details and track the criminal.

They do this in Australia, a kid in australia (16) was lying and trying to cheat another kid in the US, He even sent the other kid in America pizza's and thats how the American police tracked him down in Australia. It was a big thing in the news here a couple of weeks ago.
