Hey all,

We're getting rid of everything we aren't keen on using anymore, now that were downsizing to a single camera.

This Kit is by far my favorite of the remote FIZ setups, as calibration is stupidly easy and the motor torque is nuts—would take these over a microforce any day of the week!

This kit consists of:

— MK3.1 Controller with Forcezoom (RTM-3016Z)
— MK3.1 Receiver (RTM-3017)
— 3x Lens Motor, 15/19mm rod motor bracket, 0.8 lens gear (RTM-3015)
— 5x MK3.1 Motor Cable (RTM-8004) (3 labeled and 2 'spares')
— 1x RED EPIC/DSMC BNC Cable
— 2x Marking Rings (RTM-6300)
— 1x D-TAP cable (a slightly longer one than the RT MOTION one)
— 2x LP-E6 Batteries and a dual charger
— The case it all fits into!

SOLD!

Here are some images (and a little video to show how easy it is to work). Any questions, feel free to ask!

Hey Michael,

Are you willing to part and sell 1x motor plus motor cable?

Thanks,
Thai

Ins prefer to sell it as a kit, but if someone is only interested in the controller and 1 motor, I'd break out the other two motors.

I would be interested in one motor as well, this same kit sold on eBay about a week ago for $3500 fyi

If someone offers $5000 for the kit with 1 motor, I would sell 2x other motors (each with 2x motor cables) for $1600. Though the kit is only $5800 (with shipping) direct from RTMotion—that's only 15% off.

Or if someone wanted it without motors for $3200 I'd sell the motors individually for $1600 and I guess the last motor would only have 1x motor cables. Is that fair? Or is it nuts to think someone would want the kit without any motors?

I got an email from Rtmotion recently. They are offering 20% discount on their product until the end of August (not sure if it is only for existing customers). So that will make a brand new motor cost $1500.
I give you $1200 for motor and cable. Deal?

BTW, for $5900 new at Rtmotion store you get the same setup but with Latitude instead of normal receiver. Latitude is the way to go because if you have EF AF lenses, you don't need a motor at all. You can focus with a handcontroller or for low budget with iphone using foolcontrol app.

Hi Thai,

I think that is only for existing customers—I can't find that deal anywhere on their site. If you can get a motor for $1500, you should do that. We're trying to sell a complete kit for a good price for someone who doesn't already have a RTMotion kit. And if someone wanted the additional functionality of the latitude controller, they could upgrade to it if they needed to. One would still need a controller (this is the 6 axis one), motors and cables.

Thanks!

Thanks Micheal! I think so too.
My feeling is that everyone - myself included - is holding back until the first users get their Tilta Nucleus-M FIZ and provide the community with informative honest reviews. If Nucleus-M does performe as expected, I think many people will make the jump. It will definitely shake up the FIZ market IMO.

Good luck!

It's not limited to existing customers. The rep I was talking to offered the 20% discount to me as well.

Michael, did you have to pay any import duty fees when you bought it? I've been thinking about ordering one, but they weren't sure how much the import fees would be (if any).

I would be interested in buying it with a single motor, but right now buying new is cheaper than $5k.

Makes it even more attractive to buy new now.

If you ask Rtmotion to split up items in separate shipments, they can send in a small packages or evelopes and put a low value of lets say $100 each, you don't pay import tax or very little. This was in my case. Not sure if this applies to the US as well.
You know, IRS, NSA, CIA, FBI etc. ;-)))

Given the discounts, if someone were to make a reasonable offer on the package, I'd be more than obliged to hear it.

Offers have been all over the place—would prefer to sell to someone in the CONUS (makes shipping a lot easier!) and would happily take a chunk off the price to not have to deal with international shipping. Some quotes for canada were cheaper to fly in and out!
