  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

RPPs in NYC

How about her without the boots? :)

Oh... by the way, Mark, my middle initial happens to be "L" as well.

Does that grant me special privileges? :)

Please say yes or I'll start posting as Mark L. Pedersen...:yikes:

That'll confuse the shit out of everybody...

OMG

PLEASE don't do that - I have a dozen great stories about people think I am you and you are me - what is your middle name?

Same name dilemma? After thinking I had a not so common name (Michael Halsell). Get this -- Junior year of college, I and another gentlemen that shared the same first and last name AND he lived right across the hallway! Needless to say, postal mail and girls were an issue.

Do you guys realize that we alternatively refer to BOTH of you as "the other Mark Pedersen" here at Abel depending on who we've been dealing with more at any given time?

Or just awkwardly emphasize the spelling

"Were you dealing with Mark Peder-SEN or Peder-SON"?

Ah Danish vs Anglicization of spelling, just like I should actually be Neilsen instead of Nelson.

I tried going with East Coast Mark and West Coast Mark but then it sounded like it was a rapper feud.

Hey Shawn, if a you're Dane, be proud of that "SEN"! I am. My brother married into Neilsens from Minnesota. Good folks!

You can pretty much always identify a Dane by the "SEN".

Seems the Swedes went for the "SON"...

Normally I'd call this thread jacking but since there's no actual footage being posted...

Indeed I am a Dane, but it was my g-g-grandpa who changed it from Neilsen to Nelson. I've considered changing it back but i'd have to change it for myself, my wife and my kids (too much hassle at this point). Though interestingly I kept in the same end of swimming pool and married a Chriestenson (Ellis island bastardization of Christensen).

So hmm, how to bring this back...

Mark Pederson, king of the east coast, can you film some Danish chicks with the new RPPs?

lol, though a name change might be good for my uniqueness in the industry. A quick search of IMDB shows there are 10 "Shawn Nelson"s in the registry (of which I am VII), but zero entries for "Shawn Neilsen"

Hey Mark ... for the record - I'm of Danish and Norwegian descent. Back in the family tree it was "sen" - then somewhere in the line - "sen" was changed to "son". Also, my parents met at Mankato State University in Minnesota. My middle name is Lee - named after my grandfather - Lee Littlefield from Eltkon, MN - one of the greatest men I ever knew.

And I married a Swede - in addition to having an ex-wife who is also Swedish. So ... seems the "SON" went for the Swedes!

Well, never met a Scandinavian I didn't like :)

For the record, my middle name is Lester after an Uncle that died when he was 2 from an acute appendicitis. OK, not sexy.

But speaking of sexy, about the babe on the roof.... clearly not Scandinavian ;)

Lester, the 20 year-old model molester. :sifone:

I just checked out Marks RPP's yesterday.

I'm really impressed, I was expecting alot less considering the price. Now I can't really understand why you would rent or buy Ultra Primes by comparison.

I find this hard to believe but, I am definitely a skeptic, I'm just not seeing the disadvantages yet.
