  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Ridley Scott - The Counsellor - Shot on Epic

Well, Gladiator had a lot of different looks, not a unified one I would say. The winter scenes in the Bavarian jungle are blue, the scenes in Spain bleach-bypassed, red tones on Rome , golden cast on the dream sequences with the hands caressing the wheat and so and so forth. Gladiator, as have Riddley's other films with noticeable looks have always had more "film specific" looks, i.e.: contrasty, grainy, gritty, definitely not as slick and polished as this one, and the reason is not simply that those movies were shot on film. Prometheus didn't have a particular look that I could see, but this definitely feels like a typical modern digital look, bronze cast, warm highlights, green shadows. It doesn't look bad, it just didn't feel like Riddley, at least to me. Anyway, Happy Birthday David!

It looks like Anton Chigurh has gone and found himself some younger, sexier recruits.

An excerpt from the script was published this month in the Fiction issue of the New Yorker.

It's incredible.

Very intense primary grade.

New trailer is up. And the best part is what it doesn't show you. Looking forward to this one.
