We're shooting a major network pilot on our Epics using RC3/RG3 and all I have to say is WOW!
At first I thought this was a good but subtle update to RG2/RC2 but now I can honestly say the camera is producing a better monitor image than the Alexa.
We are consistently blown away by the cinematic look it's giving us and at it's capabilities in mixed light and even low CRI keys like LED panels and Sodium/Mercury vapors.
The skin tones are fantastic, very subtle reds and yellows with none of the plastic feeling or purple lips of the Alexa.
I've settled on a standard shooting profile of +1.1 Saturation, -0.1 FLUT and -3 Tint. This seems to produce the best out of camera image we're yet seen on a digital camera.
I wish I could post a sample but the network is keeping everything very close to the chest. If it goes to series I'll let you all know.
Bravo Graeme and Red! Bravo!
