RF mount for DSMC2?

Any chance RED could make an official RF mount for the bigger cameras now that they have experience with it for Komodo? That way everyone can use the Canon RF to EF adapter with the variable ND.

It's physically impossible due to the flange focal distance on DSMC2. Leica M-Mount is the shallowest mount you can use really.

But who knows about the future.
