Can i get output to an external monitor using an AJA Kona card from Resolve? Can't seem to get it working.

Resolve requires Blackmagic cards.

Scratch requires Kona.

Bummer.

It's kinda logical, though.
Blackmagic gives out resolve to sell blackmagic gear, not AJA, and have had huge success doing so.

But they are not required to support anything else than what they choose.
I am only glad they support some other panels...

alright ill get a decklink card then. thanks guys.

And, all of their cards supported through the Desktop Video software will work. For example, you can use the $295 Decklink SDI card. The limitation is obviously in a 10-bit 422 output. For all of the options including RGB 444 make sure to get their Decklink Extreme card or 4K cards.

Also, make sure to follow their configuration guide. They tell you exactly what setups work and it's wise to follow these as closely as possible.

Yeah, I can even use it on my 6 year old MultiBridge! Maxes out at PSF 422 but makes a clean signal.

Oh I get the logic (and agree on the panels!!). I suppose I wish Scratch accepted Blackmagic!
