Hi!
I have a PC and Resolve 10 full software, and Blackmagic Decklink mini monitor.
My workflow is editing in Premiere CS 5.5, on a 4K timeline. I keep the playback-quality on 1/4 and it works allright. Then xml-export to resolve.
Now I want to keep the resolve workflow in 4K .r3d too, so I can make a 4K export of it.
The problem is, when I scale the image for HD for the decklink, resolve crashes. Otherwise it works good enough, getting 15-20fps playback speed, and I can live with that. But when I turn on the external monitor, the software crashes on playback.
Specs of the computer:
Intel core i7 2,67ghz
24gb RAM
Nvidia Geforce GTX 570
Is the computer just too slow, or am I doing something wrong?
Or is there some way to keep the 4K resolution, but playback everything in 1080p?
Thank you, in advance!
Mikko
