So, when I export from Resolve, even with FORCE DEBAYER TO HIGHEST QUALITY checked, when I render the video, it never looks as sharp or crisp as how sharp it is as I'm viewing the clips for review (in RCXP). Anyone else have an issue like this? I know I'm missing something stupid, but I haven't been able to fully figure it out.

Ty,

Do you have also have "Force sizing to highest quality" checked as well?

if you're editing in a lower resolution before export, It's best to just change the project back to "full Res. Premium" at export if it's not that big of a burden to your computer. If it is try the " forced" method instead.

When you compare...

Which RCX debayer quality are you looking at? (Full, 1/2, 1/4, 1/8?)
Is the RCX image downscaled from 5K to a small window on your screen?

What resolution is your monitor?

What are your Resolve export settings? codec? resolution?
Did you check "Force sizing to highest quality" too?
Are you viewing the Resolve export on your monitor at full screen or the same size downscaled window as RCX?

I actually don't have the FORCE SIZING checked. And you know what's silly? I've never actually tried just manually setting the decode quality back to Full Res Premium instead of just checking the box in the Deliver tab. I'm gonna kick my own butt if it was something so simple lol.

Debayer: Full
Monitor Resolution: 4K
Export Settings: Premiere XML, Format: QT, Codec: ProRes 422, Res: 3840x2160 UHD
Export Full Screen or Downscaled: Full Screen

Hey, Rand. I see on your Color Science options, you have IPP2. Is this from Resolve 15 (I haven't upgraded b/c I don't like to play with Betas). Mine only says "Version 3"

Ty,

Yes, that "IPP2" setting is new in Resolve 15 in 14 it's "Version 3"

Here are the settings I use for H.264 export .
