I'm looking at using a wide angle zoom that has some significant barrel distortion at the short end.

I know that for still images it's possible to remove barrel distortion. So I'm wondering if there is a way to do the same in post for video images?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I believe programs like Nuke have this, but one way to do it on the cheap would be to bring clip in as image sequence into Photoshop which can then apply the effect.

Yes, there are lots of options, flame and nuke does it to prefection. If you shoot a grid with the lens it's quite possible to make it perfectly rectlinear. you loose some image in the corners and some resolution but with 5k you are quite fine. We did a whole film just recently where we shot everything with a fisheye 15mm Canon FD. Then removed all the distortion in post. But later decided to go with about half of it as it looked better than all flat.

Thanks so much guys!
