  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Remote switch

I liked the mechanical switch on the hand grip for the sr2. Push to run camera, let go to stop; or push all the way to latch on and let go, then push again to release and stop.

Great Idea, any one know the part number for that switch ?

So did I - still got a couple of SR II handgrips knocking around somewhere!
I think the combination of momentary and latching worked really well - as an operator there are occasionally times when you want to roll, but then take your hand off the handgrip.

Dave, I don't know the part number but they are available used @ c. $125 on Ebay.

I would snap one of those up, because I was told by an Arri engineer that you can't get the parts new any more - the sr3 moved to an electronic switch.
The handgrip is great, and attaches via rosette.
