  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

I guess you have never been on a commercial set where an HD groundglass is marked as 1.77 instead of 1.78. Last time it happened to me it sparked a 30 minute debate/Production 101 lesson. Many phone calls to agency producers, much ass-covering.

I was actually told "We can't use 16x9, it has to be 1.78". People generally don't go into marketing because they are good at math :-)

Sometimes it is just easier to have the options rather than calling something redundant.

"There, I have changed the framelines 0.01%. Everybody happy? Good!"
