the overall performance of this version is better for me than the last - especially the color curves are much more responsive. oddly 1/8 playback is consistently faster than 1/16. i would love to be able to have the playback rates of redcine. i miss 1/2 res med or full at 1:1.
i'm running a dual quad 2.8 pc, win xpx64, 16gb ram with nvidia 4600. just an observation: comparing the performance, redcine uses more system resources and achieves faster playback rates where redcine-x is not using as much cpu and, perhaps as expected, does not make the same playback rates - anyway to use more of the system power?
regardless, thank you. this version performs well enough that i will make the transition from redcine. cheers. you guys are awesome.
