  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Thank you! My schedule opened up unexpectedly, and I am now free time-wise.
 
Hi! My name is Caiti and I'm one of the newest members of the sales team for RED. I had the pleasure of taking REDucation in May, and it was an awesome experience! This course is advantageous for all levels of camera knowledge and background, and I highly recommend for anyone looking to get more of a "hands on" approach with the gear. Here are a few pics from over the course of the week!

Hey Caiti, welcome to RedUser! It was a pleasure to hang out with you and get to know everyone else at REDucation.

Not only is REDucation a great place to LEARN more about the core of RED and it's workflow, it is a prime place to CONNECT with other people who share the same passion in the filmmaking process. I highly recommend each and every one of you to get to REDucation if you haven't.

Thomas - we are finalizing the details today, looks like September 28-29 at RED Studios Hollywood
 
A two day EPIC REDucation is on for September 28th and 29th in Los Angeles. Day one will be at RED Studios Hollywood and will cover EPIC and EPIC workflow. Day two will be a shoot off the studio lot (exact location TBD but will be local in LA) and will include full EPIC packages and experienced EPIC TAs to assist.

Thomas - we will spend most of the classroom day on post and will have DITs with EPIC experience for the shoot day. Look forward to meeting you in person.
 
We currently have February set aside for our NYC REDucation - overdue for sure but will let you know when we have the details coordinated. We may also do the classroom day of the September course via videoconference if there is interest. We had great success with that test in May.
