  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

I think the quota is about 50 max. Although it depends on location, number if TAs, equipment, etc. but it's normally about 50

:)
 
It's one of the great thing about REDucation. You get to network with people from all over the works who you'll keep in touch with long after the course :))

I just found this thread after finding out that REDucation is soldout!

I pulled a lot of strings at work to be able to send two of us to REDucation, we just bought a Scarlet, we had already paid for air transportation and lodging when I found out the class was full. I didn't know it would/could sell out. Is there any hope for us. I'm in really bad spot if we have to eat the cost of airfare and the deposit on lodging because I didn't register quickly enough.

We have opened the registration for the next two REDucation courses in New York, May 21st-25th and Lodnon, September 3rd-5th. The New York location is still TBD but the dates are set, the London course will return to Pinewood Studios right before IBC. Links to the registration are below. New York will have the three day main course plus advanced post production and shooting 3D with RED. For now the London REDucation will be the three day main course only.

Hey Brian... Any idea how many spots are available in this class in NY? I just want to somewhat get an idea of how long I have to sign up..?

We have 50-60 spots depending on response and camera availability. We do not have more than seven attendees per camera so that is main factor.

We had a great setup today. After hearing the course lineup for the week this is going to be a killer REDucation. I'm really excited for the Shoot, Post, Present 2-day class. Of course it's hard to compete with Michael Cioni's Post 2-day class but get this.. Red is brining in actors, make-up artists, directors with multiple shooting projects along with experts from Adobe to walk everyone through the post process with Adobe products. And this is only a 2-day class! There should be a week dedicated just for this class. For everyone that signed up for any of the classes. Be sure to ask lots of questions, the direction the class takes is really driven by what you want to hear. If you are a little intimidated, don't be... Everyone is here to help you no matter what level of productions you work on.
