Hi Folks

We had an opportunity to fit the production model microMatteBox with the Red One, and wanted to leave you with these images before heading off to NAB. The microMatteBox Red Bundle will also be showing in our booth at NAB C11733 to touch firsthand. Many thanks to Sam and Kholi for hooking us up with the Red camera.

For Red users, note the native 19mm native rod support, and red accented knobs etc. (the final versions will be anodized red).

Enjoy!

Brian

Brian, pics look great! Wish you had some closeups, though. I'm heading over to the RR forum now to see if you've posted any other pics.

Congratulations on finishing an absolutely terrific-looking product.:)

NICE!

So, is the rumor of Arri filter holders working true? I'm wondering about 5.65x5.65 grads... Can we get red knobs if we order the 15mm version? Your closeups show "RedRock Blue" knobs - they look great too of course but we are crazy filmmakers after all so we like color-coordination options...

Anyway, these are little questions. Looks great. Glad I'm on the list. Congrats.

Looks great, Brian!

Can't wait to see it in person.

I'm there with two reservations for my both RED ONE units. Congrats and Thanks Brian! (I believe that we reservation holders deserve our part too :))

Bruce

Our plan is to have red anodized knobs available as a general option instead of redrock blue, probably part of the Red Bundle as well. That's why we made 'em :)

Dang, Brian, that thing looks good! Gonna be beautiful sitting in front of the Dream Machine.

I've completely lost track of the schedule for shipping and can't find it on the website...what is the plan again? How soon after you fill existing reservations will it be available to the general public?

I signed up for a reservation, but it was never confirmed, but I do get the micromattebox reservation holders e-mails...what does it all mean??

Thanks for any info you can provide.

Brian, I knew you wouldn't disappoint us-you've done it again, bro. That is a thing of beauty and elegance. Brian...he's a bad motherf...shut yo mouth!!!

looks sweeeet :) if you get a chance, more pictures and close ups wouldn't hurt

looks great Brian. What is the weight of the mattebox with the flags?

I'm in the same position here.. I put down a reservation ages ago but not sure if it was ever confirmed. I also get the reservation holder's emails..

If there any way to find out whether we're on the list, and maybe where on the list ?

Nice work Brian !

Seth and planet e, I had this conversation with Brian a while back. If you are getting the reservation holders emails, you are on the list.

Hi everyone

- the reservation process had no confirmation - we have sent email confirmations to all reservation holders (at least three updates since we started the reservations). If you are receiving emails you are a reservation holder.

- we start shipping to reservation holders April 15th. It will take some time to work through the reservation list, and then we will have it available for general sale. We have a notification list on our microMatteBox page if you are not a reservation holder and want to be notified when it's generally available:

http://www.redrockmicro.com/microMattebox.html

- information on filter sizes, configurations, etc. is also on that page, and there is another good thread here that goes through excruciating detail on the microMatteBox.

- If you have the wings and flags on, you won't see any of the accent details. if not, you can always just take them off (they screw right off)

Other details will have to wait for NAB to blow over (unless someone shows up with a scale in our booth, in which case that would be great... weird, but great ;) )

Thanks everyone

Brian
