  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Hi Brian. Can you tell me the approximate weight of the matte box please?
Aslo (slightly off subject) anyway to accomodate your new shoulder mount to work on the RED one?

I think Brian invited anyone to bring along a balance to NAB so they could weigh the Mattebox. We're all wondering about the weight.

Which new shoulder mount ? I'll do a search.

Sorry I missed that part.... :waaa:
RedRock has a pretty cool shoulder mount (on their website)....I think it would be interesting if it was usable with the RED...The current shoulder mount option on the RED is not the greatest and I am looking at other simple solutions....

you mentioned we should be getting an email yesterday if we had placed a reservation. I get general emails about the MB - but nothing this week?
 
So, Brian, if I'm understanding this correctly if we got the email we should just go ahead and order with the same email address. Any chance of knowing where we stand in line, or does it not really matter?
 
Brian's post at REDROCK say's :

All microMatteBox orders will be shipped in the following priority:

1. golden ticket holders (first 50 reservations)
2. current reservation holders
3. advance orders (orders placed now without a reservation)

So it is very clear .they should finish thier promises first then star shipping

new orders ..

But iam afraid from that 40 days lead time of waiting .this should be applied
for whom ??

what Bundle i should select ?? 51 mm or 19 mm ?
i have my 15 mm FF
 
i followed the link....ordered online, entering my email adress which declares me as a res. holder.

ordered with black knobs, red bundle+ additional stage (filtertray included)
costs 1000 USD
