  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

redmotes and side handles, who is still missing theirs?

hm, glad you got your EPICX Antonio!

seems so strange how the shipments worked out. so for several months you had your handle but no camera. and people with super early EPICX numbers based on their super early REDONE numbers from 2006, still don't have their handles...


anyone with a side handle want to pass it forward to someone with an EPICX, then get their handle, when RED ships to them?

Maybe all this will work out in the next day or two, with RED shipping some side handles out. hope so.

Mike, you realize that the side handle is not part of the epic-x package and you have to order it separately, right?

we ordered side handle with our epic x in September
 
Side Hande came a couple of days after my Epic #414, Canon Mount arrived 2 weeks ago, both items ordered within hours when they where available on the Red Store.

Still waiting for the Redmote, bot not missing it too much , i just love the Side Handle
 
ok. so some people have them. some people ordered them way before they were allowed to order their epicX

yay.

yes the side handle was not part of the automatic epicX order.

but it seems that some how people ordered them as early as August.

so we now have people with EPICX numbers way higher then some of us with super low EPICX number with their side handles.....

so ya.

if anyone has one that does not have their epicX yet, chime in.

Epic #659 in last half of October. Still no side handle (ordered 10-26-11), REDmote or Canon Mount. In fact, the only thing that's changed is that I should be getting the Bomb EVF tomorrow according the the tracking data info. I highly respect the initiative and forward thinking of the guys who ordered these jewels before receiving their Epics. We are generating revenue with the RED One (#2944) but I have officially stopped answering queries about the Epic since it isn't in anything resembling rentable form.
 
w00t! Just got my shipping notice for the RED Side Handle...I ordered mid-October IIRC.

Yes. I'm still missing the RedMote and power module.

The Ti Canon mount I ordered at the same time as the side handle is supposedly 4-6 weeks out still.
 
Epic X 624, side handle arrived 2 weeks ago (ordered around September I think) waiting for RedMote

Still waiting on Side handle, Redmote and Bomb for Epic X 435. I ordered the Epic X and side handle Oct 14 and the Bomb on Oct 19.

Same story as some others, my Red One is working but I can't push the Epic until I at least have more control than the touch screen.

Epic-X #420 delivered late Oct - still no Redmote, but got Side Handle a while ago. Expecting Canon Ti mount some time in January, possibly February.
