  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

REDCINE-X Professional...

I've tried downloading the Mac Universal Version three times and with each install the attached folder opens. The RedCine X icon in this folder is not interactive. I'm using OSX 10.5.8. Could that be an issue?

Deanan,

Why did we go back to vertical color wheels? When that was introduced a year or more ago, overwhelmingly it was requested to bring them back to an horizontal layout, and was kept that way until this version. May seem trivial, but there is a visual-reason all software (even new Resolve) are set horizontally.

Love the new single window layout!

Dual monitor view is really cool but I'm having this weird issue where the image is desaturated and yellowish on the second monitor.....? and If I run out of the RR on the second display or view on the main display everything looks correct.

I just wanted to say thanks to the developers for creating a piece of software which has grown in power, ability, and UX without becoming bloated and/or slow. Massive thank you all around.

Agreed. I was expecting an upgrade like this sometime next year not now. A lot of care and thought went into that interface.
Very nice work.

I'm on 10.5.8, seems to work fine on mine...

At Red Day 2010 we saw Magic Bullet integrated into RedCineX - is that still in the works? It would be so awesome to be able to achieve some of those looks right in one program, especially with access to the RAW data (kind of how Lightroom lets you do local adjustments to RAW exposure values to bring back overexposed areas)!
