YAY!

TIME to do some ALCHEMY!

I know im either going to blow myself up... or I just might transmute some lead into gold... I guess it could go either way... :smash:

Sweet! Thanks RED for the gift.

After playing around with the new sliders, Alchemy does exactly what I needed it to do when I brought my files into After Effects for grading. I'm glad I have the option to skip that step now!

Um... I broke it already. Alchemy slider crashed the program. lol. using it on an R3D snapshot though, so.... that might be why

Sweet! I cant wait to try out the film look. Record a clean image then do whatever you want with it. Such a simple but powerful concept. I hope people understand how nice and important The RED Watchdog utility is. It will greatly simply keeping the Media on the Mags safe. No more need to use write blocking hardware or 3rd party software anymore, and it only affects red media. Fantastic!

Loving Alchemy! It's like magic contrast....and I've been dying for a Clarity adjustment for motion for years (that didn't involve creating some crazy node tree of keys and blurs and curves).

You have no idea how much you guys have just made my night/life.

"Oh and . . . we also got this little software thing to show you"

Classic

Alchemy is "magic contrast". I use 35-50% on every shot.

Jim

Any chance someone can post a before / after alchemy example? Thanks guys, loved the news today

Awesome Jim and congratulations on all fronts; you must be over the moon! You guys have really hit it out of the park and some.

Keep on trucking!

All the best,

Having trouble installing the 64bit windows.

Anyone else?

***EDIT*** Nevermind, fixed itself.

Been futzzing around with the build. I'm getting a real feel for Alchemy now. Very cool. Almost like a density contrast adjustment. I really like how it handles the shadows. Seems to not crush.
