So i've been trying to get my workflow down for editing and obviously Adobe was a better option. I installed 5.5 on one iMac with RedCine-X Pro. The video tutorial I watched showed that when you made changes in Redcine, it would change in PP after you restarted the program. It worked on my first computer fine. I just got to my newer iMac and did all the same things and for some reason when I make changes in Redcine, it won't affect it within PP. I also tried it in PP 6.0 but still nothing.

I tried looking in the forums but i couldn't find anything. I could just be a newb and missed it. Anyone know what to do? Obviously Redcine-X Pro is still in beta but why did it work on one machine and not the other. Both systems are exactly the same.

Thank you for the help

Right click on the clip in the project panel and choose source settings. This dialog will have an option to reload the RMD.

Thank Steve! I tried that though and still doesn't fix the color problems. Also i wouldn't want to have to do that for ever clip.

Are you saving the .RMD file in a different location from the R3D file?

Interesting. Can you describe what changes aren't being reflected when you reload your .RMD?
I would also try physically "saving" the .RMD through RedCine-X Pro.

Remember that currently the Red Adobe Importer doesn't support: RedColor3, RedGamma3, or any of the Look::Effects effects.

Not sure what fixed it but i deleted RedCine-X Pro and then reinstalled and everything was fixed. Maybe just a bug since it's still in beta?
