Very nice!

Wow. Nice work on getting smooth noise free images while maintaining detail!

BTW, a 6K file too 26 seconds to render in A.D.D on a nMP 8Core Dual D700 64GB

Top image is A.D.D

Anyone have a link to a short Dragon shot that is sharp, for ADD tests ?
Thanks!

Re-posting from the A.D.D. Thread for those of you who haven't seen:

Damn! I need A.D.D for motion. This is awesome. It seems to bring out more exposure in the low end, reduce noise, and sharpen to your taste. Bad ass. Is it safe to assume that this is basically a RCX version of Adobe Camera Raw? Either way it's amazing.

This compressed jpeg doesn't do it justice. (right-click, open in a new tab)

(Footage is not mine, but was made available on Reduser and shot in 5.5k HD & 4.5k HD)

I really need a Dragon :(

Nice example bob.

thats the footage I want to try first as well as there is some 4k slomotion in there.

ADD greyed out?
Also DRX slider is greyed out?
Is there a setting I am missing?

A.D.D. only works on motion clips I'm assuming. I couldn't get it to work on R3D snapshots.

Thanks Matt,

Got that figured out.

Here is a nice example from a 3K motion clip with no tweak to ADD base settings. rendered in under ten seconds. The smoke detail is pretty darn nice! makes things a bit more creamy. Thanks again OffHollywood.

And just one more quick sample from 6K where I raised the blacks and moved the color temp to pronounce things a bit. The differences are subtle but you can really see it in the tiffs.

Strong improvement. To me it looks like ADD is a noise reduction and sharpening method of very high quality. Reminds me a bit of Neat Video. Great to have in Redcine X
