  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Seems to have gone by unnoticed, but on July 8th a new Beta of RCX PRO dropped.

Changelog:
Added: OpenCL GPU Decode.
Fixed: An issue deleting sound files from the browser.
Fixed: Potential memory allocation errors when doing CUDA GPU Decode.

Is OpenCL GPU decode better performance/less VRAM requirements than Metal or CUDA?

I'll have to do a round of benchmarks. I'm all Nvidia on my boxes, but the key thing from my perspective is OpenCL Decode should now support ATI GPUs, which don't feature CUDA. I would expect realtime 8K playback works on decent cards.

Likely do it over the weekend.
