  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

REDCINE-X Build 346...

Crop presets have been saving and working ok and we haven't seen what you're reporting. The Sanity checking is for odd situations where you can create crops that were not valid.

Drag and drop has also been in there for a long time.

Both I and the ast. editor on the show we're working have been running 340 (OSX 64bit) on separate machines, and every time you close and reopen the build, the framing preset data is lost. Sometimes the name remains, the parameters are blank, "no crop."

When viewing clips in list view, either in the browser or the bins, you can't lasso select them all. You either have to click then shift-click the whole range, click and 'cmd-A' to select all, or other methods. Lasso works fine in thumbnail view, but it would be nice to do in list view too (which is available in the finder) because you can easily look at multiple clips and see what looks are applied, the clip's dimensions, etc.

It could be a permissions problem if it can't save the presets properly. Send the Logs to redcinex at red.

In list view, shift-click and cmd-click also work for multi-selecting.

The only time those origin boxes are editable is when the crop setting is set to "Custom".

hi Mathew, the setting is 'Custom' and I just tried the same thing with build 348 and the numbers are also not editable. IN previous versions they were.
