My company is having a strange issue where all clips at 23.976 from one memory card import into Redcine-x and only show a duration between 1:17:20 and 1:18:04 . We are shooting 5K FF, If I open the clips in Premiere Pro natively, I can see the entire duration of the clips, but if I open the clips in redcine-x I only see up to 1:18:04, regardless of how long the actual clip is. In REDCINE-X however, it seems as though the footage is only picking up the first file at the 4GB break, as I can't even play back a full file, it always stops before 1:18:04. On the exact same card, footage that was shot at 96/60 FPS plays back fine and with it's entire duration.
We were originally having issues with Redcine-X 22.4 incorrectly syncing audio (both internal audio as well as external audio) which again works 100% perfectly in Premiere Pro (both Mac and PC), so I moved up to 23.2 as a way to see if our audio issues was fixed. While the audio sync issues disappeared, now we have the issue of not being able to see our footage in it's entirety.
While it could be possible to work with the native R3Ds in Premiere, we've been using RC-X to make proxies with sync audio from second system and make the workload easier until finishing in Davinci.
Has anyone else had this issue or know of a way to remedy it?
