I wanted to know if it's possible to set in and out points on mutliple clips of 4K 16:9 in Redcine ? Then output SD files for FCP offline. Then come back to redcine with Crimson to render out from 4k. I'm trying to come up with a quicker workflow without having the proxie files in 4K.

Does anyone have a better 4K 16:9 workflow at this point in time?
Does anyone know if 4K proxies are coming in build 16?

There're some shortcuts that can eliminate steps, but this will get you going with rendering specific in/out points in REDCINE:

- Find your starting point along the timeline and note the frame number (e.g. 54,679); then do the same with your end point (e.g. 95,220).
- Hit the "Range" button, then select the frame number of the in point to the left of the scrubber--the calculator will pop up.
- Enter your "in" point (54,670).
- Do the same with your out point (to the right of the scrubber).

This will give you all clips between your in/out points on the range bar and when you hit "Go", only those clips will render. (Hit "Range" again and it will go back to the whole timeline.)
