+1 London.

Edit:

Actually this does depend when, if I'm in Singapore and you guys are hitting there I'd happily give a shout to the Hyatt and sort out venue,

More than likely I'll see you guys in London, had the pleasure of meeting Ted last time around but didn't get a chance to really converse, everything was a rush,

This is going to be one hell of an awesome tour for all the REDUsers, hopefully get my EPIC by then ;P

Just back from 3 weeks on the road and can't wait to strike out again on this tour!

Best thing ever is meeting people in the RED world, all over the world, and interfacing in person.

+ Ted

So, Ted . . . do you still remember where your HOME is?

I'd definitely consider looking at Bulgaria/Romania since they are shooting a lot of RED footage in the productions there, especially at Nu Boyana.

I don't know how you do it... It was good to chat to you at Pinewood a while back, but I felt I had to wait for the eye of the storm to get a minute to say hi ( I badgered you about Canon mounts... Alan really came through for us on that :) ) . If you guys collectively make this trip I'm sure it'll be double the whirlwind. Good luck everyone!

About Hong Kong...
I'm probably not totally objective as a shanghainese by adoption, but here's a few things that make me think you can skip HK :

- HK companies who can afford Epic probably already bought it.
- The local market is very small (for scarlet, projector, redray)
- HK is not what it used to be. To get access to the chinese mainland market (and this is definitely where you want to be), going through HK to smuggle products in China was good in the 90's but that's just not the right way nowadays, but some people keep doing it this way resulting in a crazy volatile market.

Jarred, Deanan, Ted, Mike and I are planning a RED World Tour beginning early 2012.

We plan on hitting 15 countries in 3 weeks.

We will make a presentation of EPIC, Scarlet, REDray and the new RED projector.

We would love as many to see this as possible. We could use your help.

If you have suggestions for your country, please comment.

Jim

Hello Jim!

Welcome to Hong Kong and Mainland China, you have many fans await for you and your Team...

Cheers

Germany - I guess that is a must - there are lots of people here to convince here that your camera is usable ;)

I would suggest Babelsberg Filmstudios - lots of Hollywood productions here - and ground zero for a certain other camera/equipment company.

Aaawww man... I wanna meet Ted :)

If you go to Denmark, I will fly over on my own dime, show you and Jarred, and red team around. I'd suggest the Marriott or the Danglaterre. Great food, and Denmark is known for it's designs (architecture) and technology (DPA MICS, Bang and Olufson) Red would be welcomed with open arms.

The D'Angleterre is under construction for a year or so. But if you want a real classy Hotel in Copenhagen, you should either go to 'Hotel Skt. Petri' or 'Radisson SAS Royal Hotel' the worlds first Design-Hotel. Several of Arne Jakobsens most famous creations like the Swan Chair, The Egg Chair and the 7-chair was designed for this hotel. Everything in this Hotel was designed by him.

I vote for Copenhagen - If it happens I would be more then happy to help out Red - you can even crash my place if you want to :)

Japan Please Jim! I had a chance to meet Ted and play with one of the first working Scarlets I ordered it when I got home from InterBee that night. Would like to see a full Red Presentation of products on a solo stage without the distractions!
What Lee said!

I've been evangelizing the Epic here since I got it in September. There's a LOT of interest in the Scarlet, so showing the end-to-end chain of camera to Red Ray to projector would be the ace in the hole I think.

And of course I'd also like to see the Red Ray and projector in action here.... :)

Cheers from Tokyo,

Paul :)

And it was great to meet you again as well! There's truly no other company that has such an open, family-type relationship with its customers :)

As I mentioned to you at InterBEE, it's the easiest thing in the world to walk around with my Epic on the show floor and evangelize, because I truly believe in that bond of family and friendship that transcends the dollars involved. It's about passion for the art and science of cinema, and as a passion one can't help but share it with all who will listen!

Cheers from the lion's den as always,

Paul :)
