Jarred, Deanan, Ted, Mike and I are planning a RED World Tour beginning early 2012.

We plan on hitting 15 countries in 3 weeks.

We will make a presentation of EPIC, Scarlet, REDray and the new RED projector.

We would love as many to see this as possible. We could use your help.

If you have suggestions for your country, please comment.

Jim

This particular trip will be a world tour... no US cities. That will come next.

I guess a logical country would be the UK, so easiest would be London.

Wouldn't miss this!

I would suggest Sweden, Just because they are always pumping out awesome indie features and such. seems like they are very into indie filmmaking and im not sure how integrated they are in with new technology.

Please oh please come to Brisbane, Australia. We've spent a few years fighting a weird reticence towards RED products due to some less-than-awesome practices by some of the rental houses. Some official RED presence would go a really long way. We do a lot of event staging as part of our business so happy to help with equipment suppliers & venues here! There are a couple of great screening rooms/theatres at some of the universities that I'm sure would open their doors for something of this nature. Either that or something down at Warner Bros Studios on the Gold Coast.

I'll do what I can to help in Florence, Italy. It might be a good convergence point between Milan, Venice and Rome.

Contact me anytime.

In no particular order, the countries we are considering are:

Czech Republic
Romania
Australia
Canada
Japan
Germany

Australia for sure. Sydney or Melbourne would be the way to go - in that order. But I have no doubt that if both were done there would be no shortage of attendees. Wherever you guys land, I'll be sure to see you there. Exciting!
