The RED WEAPON 6K BRAIN enables the user to capture motion and stills in 6K 2.4:1 at up to 100 frames per second (fps), or 6K FF 17:9 at 75 fps, with the cutting-edge RED DRAGON® sensor, optimized for WEAPON®. WEAPON retains the best aspects from RED EPIC® and SCARLET® while adding numerous performance enhancements, such as on-board Apple ProRes and Avid DNxHR/HD recording and limited 3D LUT support—all in a smaller BRAIN®, completely redesigned for modular performance.

Just one of the major improvements with WEAPON is the integration of the new DSMC2® intelligent OLPF system, making it easier than ever to optimize footage for your shooting environment by quickly swapping out the optical low pass filter.

NOTE: The WEAPON BRAIN itself does not have a DC IN power port. A port expander or power module is required to power the camera. To construct a working configuration for any BRAIN, RED recommends an expander, battery, lens mount, display, and media. Contact your AbelCine salesperson for details and availability.
