RED Weapon #38

[James Codeglia]

Just picked up this beauty on Sept. 14th. Special Thanks to Dan Baum and the entire team at RED for this amazing camera. Forged Carbon Fiber. Stealth. Can't wait to put this bad boy to work!

I'm happy to say the fans are SO much quieter. I've never considered the previous fans a deal breaker. Just requires some knowledge and experience to keep the camera cool and quiet. I never had a problem rolling for 45 minute interviews. But THESE fans are 2-3x quieter, easily! I've set the sensor temperature to 42 and it sounds like the old Quiet mode. This was a huge complaint before (from operators who didn't know how to manage the fan correctly). Well done, Red!
