  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

RED Studios Hollywood

Was great to see you Ketch.. as usual.

Is that Mike Curtis in the lower right?
I don't know, but that logo looks like a flying locust with its wings on backwards:thumbup:.... not that there's anything wrong with that.:001_rolleyes: ... unless you hate flying locusts with their wings on backwards.

As always Ketch! Great to see you.

Definitely an other great move on RED's part with this new location, great event last night and a true pleasure seen all fellow REDUSERS again, while playing with the new toys and discovering new frontiers.

Congrats RED!!

yeah.. as it was great for me too, but next time don't pick me up as if I was a bag full of feathers.. I'm delicate you know?

just kidding, I love to receive so much Love,, even so I wished I find a nice girl would give it to me..well maybe not as tall as you, he he.

As always Ketch! Great to see you.

Graeme, always really nice to see you, and you known that, and ... the 6400 ASA you showed me.. well I'm still blown away by it, and I know I haven't seen the end of it too, what a great times.. Jim is so in line in giving you such credit, very well deserved buddy.

Well, I'd not recommend for people just to crank to 6400 as I did, but as a demonstration of how good the sensor is, it's one that people can easily understand.

Correct, but I must say that if you achieve that on the nice but simple set up, I'm sure that with the right exposure and proper lighting set up to match 6400 can offer a fantastic capture of otherwise lost images, in more of one occasion it will happen were you wish you had this possibility, even if it could mean a bit of extra work in post, but saving the day, to me is what is all about, both in Motion capture as well as in Still Capture.

Looking forward to start shooting... IT!!

All my best wishes and congrats to all of you!

Let me know if you need some wall decorations... :-)

Congratulations guys! - Make no mistake, the significance of RED will continue to expand waaaay beyond what lots of folk consider to be gospel and/or 'Industry standard' (for one; RED Ray - U can't arrive fast enough!!!)

..And some people still think they are 'just' a camera company!???

Actually it has a skull for an ass

Now that Jim owns his own studio, it's time to start producing features and TV, all shot on RED of course.

Yes, definitely. Time for Forward Integration!!!!

Congratulations Jim.
